      Adding a Subcontractor to Your Supply Chain in C-Link

      🖥️ Accessing the Supply Chain

      To begin adding a subcontractor to your supply chain:

      1. Log into C-Link:
        • Navigate to your project dashboard.
      2. Open Supply Chain:
        • Click on "Supply Chain" to open the supply chain page.
      3. Add Subcontractor:
        • In the top right-hand corner, click "Add Subcontractor".

      🔍 Using Company’s House API

      To add a business using the Company’s House API:

      1. Search for Business:
        • Use the search function to find a business in the UK. For example, search for "Tesco".
      2. Auto-Fill Details:
        • Select the business, and the system will automatically pull through the company registration and address.

      📇 Adding Subcontractor Details

      Enter the details for the subcontractor:

      1. Contact Information:
        • Add the subcontractor's contact, their email address, and telephone number.
      2. Assign Trades:
        • Assign the relevant trades to the subcontractor. For example, they might be a main contractor or a groundworks company.
        • You can add as many trades as necessary.

      Specify the locations where the subcontractor operates:

      1. Select Locations:
        • Choose the locations, such as London, the Southeast, and the Southwest.
      2. Maximise Automation:
        • Add all relevant locations to ensure automation works effectively when you do projects in these areas.

      📤 Finalising the Addition

      After entering all details:

      1. Review and Add:
        • Review the information. If needed, go back to make changes.
        • Press "Add" to add the subcontractor to your supply chain.
      2. Email Notification:
        • The subcontractor will receive an email confirming the addition and requesting them to complete a pre-qualification.
