In C-Link, the term "trades" refers to different packages of work, such as:
- Steelwork
- Architectural Metalwork
- Dry Lining
- First Fix Carpentry
- And more...
๐ Assigning Trades to Contractors
To assign trades to your contractors:
- Navigate to Supply Chain:
- Go to the "Supply Chain" section from your project dashboard.
- Select Contractor:
- Choose the contractor you want to assign a trade to, for example, "ABC Windows and Doors".
- Edit Contractor Details:
- Click "Edit" on the selected contractorโs profile.
- Assign Trade:
- In the trade section, you can assign trades to the contractor. For example, if they do aluminium windows, you can also add aluminium doors.
- Insert the relevant trades and save the changes.

If you need to create a new trade:
- Contact Customer Success Manager:
- If the required trade is not available in the standard template of trades, contact your Customer Success Manager.
- Request New Trade:
- Your Customer Success Manager will add the new trade to your account promptly.
