# Creating a New Scope of Work in C-Link
## This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to create a new scope of work in C-Link.

### **🖥️ Accessing Scopes of Work**
To begin creating a new scope of work:
1. **Navigate to Company Assets**:
- Access the "Company Assets" section from your main menu.
2. **Open Scopes of Work**:
- Click on the "Scopes of Work" folder.
3. **Standard Scopes**:
- With a standard C-Link subscription, you will have access to 20 standard scopes of work.
### **📄 Creating a New Scope of Work**
To create a new scope of work:
1. **Select Existing Scopes**:
- Review existing scopes such as "Roofing" or "Roofing Hotel".
2. **Create New Scope**:
- Click to create a new scope of work. For example, "Roofing Single Ply".
3. **Edit Template**:
- Click the "Edit Template" button to open a blank template.
### **✏️ Customising the Scope of Work**
Follow these steps to customise your scope of work:
1. **Edit the Template**:
- Start filling in the specific details for the new scope of work.
- For instance, use the standard roofing template as a base and modify it for "Single Ply".
2. **Customise Details**:
- Change the text to suit your specific needs. For example, rename sections to "Single Ply Roofing".
3. **Fine-Tune the Scope**:
- Adjust and customise the content to make it very package-specific.
### **💾 Saving and Using the Template**
After customising the scope of work:
1. **Save Changes**:
- Press "Save Changes" to create the new template.
- This template will now be available in the Document Creator.
2. **Using the Template**:
- The next time you create a tender or contract document, the new scope of work will be available for selection.
