To begin customising your order template:

  1. Navigate to Document Creator:
    • Open the order document in the Document Creator. For this example, we are working on a small works order.
  2. Answer Template Questions:
    • Proceed through the questions on the left-hand side as you typically do.

Follow these steps to tweak specific elements of the order document:

  1. Edit Document Content:
    • On the right-hand side, click on the elements you wish to edit.
    • For example, to add specific programme requirements, click the relevant section and update it. You might add "sectional completion is included for X, Y, and Z".
  2. Word Document-Like Editing:
    • Update and edit the order document directly, similar to how you would in a word processing document.

✏️ Editing Terms and Conditions

To make specific changes to terms and conditions:

  1. Review T's and C's:
    • Scroll through the terms and conditions section of the document.
  2. Edit Specific Terms:
    • Click on the term you wish to change. For instance, if the standard notice period is 14 days but you have agreed to a 7-day notice period with the subcontractor, update it accordingly.

💾 Saving Changes

After customising your order template:

  1. Save Changes:
    • Always press "Save" after making any custom changes on the right-hand side to ensure your updates are stored.
