This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to add a new project within our platform.

🚀 Navigating to Your Projects Dashboard

To begin adding a new project, navigate to your projects dashboard. Follow these steps:

  1. Access Your Projects Dashboard:
    • Log in to your account and you will arrive at the projects dashboard.
    • Alternatively, you can hit the "Projects" button on the main navigation.

➕ Creating a New Project

Once on the projects dashboard, follow these steps to create a new project:

  1. Add New Project:
    • Click the "Add New Project" button.
    • This will take you to the project creation form.
  2. Fill Out Project Information:
    • Enter the project name. For example, "Test Project One".
    • Provide a reference number. This could be an internal reference or something specific you wish to add, such as "001".
    • Enter the start and end dates for the project.
    • Select the project status (e.g., tender, two-stage tender, secured contract).
    • Specify the project location.
    • Choose the project type (e.g., mixed-use).
  3. Add Project Description:
    • Provide a brief description of the project. For example, "Test Description".
  4. Upload Project Image:
    • Upload an image to make the project more visually appealing.

🌐 Entering Project Site Details

Proceed to the second section to enter site details:

  1. Site Details:
    • Choose how and where your project is located.
    • Use the tool to instantly upload postcode and address, or enter the address manually.
  2. Additional Information:
    • Enter details such as insurances and requests.
    • If available, input the Gross Internal Area (GIA). This is not mandatory unless marked with a star.
  3. Save and Continue:
    • Press "Save and Continue" to finalise the project creation.

Summary ✅

Your project will now be saved and created. To verify:

  1. View Your Project:
    • Go back to the projects dashboard by hitting the "Projects" button.
    • You should see "Test Project One" listed.
    • Click on the project to go back to the project dashboard and continue creating and editing as needed.
