🛠️ Accessing the Procurement Schedule
To begin creating a tender document:
- Navigate to Your Project:
- Go to your projects dashboard and select the project, for example, "Get Departments".
- Open Procurement Tools:
- Click on "Procurement Tools" and then select "Procurement Schedule".
- Select Package:
- Find the package you want to create a tender document for, such as "Groundworks".
📄 Creating a Tender Document
Follow these steps to create the tender document:
- Create Tender Document:
- Click on "Create Tender Document" next to the package with interested contractors.
- You will be taken to the "Tender Templates" page.
- Choose Tender Template:
- Select the type of document you want to produce. For example, choose "Quick Tender".
- Press "Continue" to proceed.
- Draft Tender:
- A draft tender document will be saved. Click "View Document" to start editing.
✏️ Completing the Tender Document
Complete the document by following these steps:
- Answer Questions:
- In the document creator, answer the series of questions presented.
- As you answer, the document will auto-fill with the information provided.
- Track Progress:
- Your progress is displayed as a percentage. For example, if you start at 73% and fill in more details, the percentage will increase (e.g., to 77%).
- Form of Contract:
- Specify the form of contract, such as "JCT D&B Contract".
- Continue answering all the questions to reach 100% completion.
- Upload Drawings and Specifications:
- Upload relevant drawings and specifications by clicking "Upload" and attaching the files to the package.
- The system will automatically update the drawings and documents section.
- Save and Preview:
- Once all fields are complete, click "Save". The system will also auto-save your progress.
- Hit "Preview" to view the document as a PDF.
- Send Inquiry:
- When ready, click "Send" to send the inquiry out to the subcontractors.
