      Inviting Subcontractors to Prosper in C-Link

      This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to invite subcontractors to Prosper through C-Link.

      🧩 Uploading and Inviting Subcontractors

      To invite subcontractors to Prosper, follow these steps:

      • Two Methods to Invite Subcontractors:
          • Automated Process: C-Link can automate the process for you at the start.
          • Manual Addition: You can manually add subcontractors by pressing the "Add Subcontractor" button.
      • Add Subcontractor:
        • Click "Add Subcontractor" on your supply chain page.
        • Use the Companies House API to find and add the subcontractor's details.

      📧 Sending Invitations

      After adding the subcontractor, an invitation email will be sent:

      • Enter Subcontractor Details:
          • Type in the fictional company name, for example, "Tesco plc".
          • Fill in the contact details for the subcontractor, e.g., Joe Bloggs, email: jblogsmail@.com, phone number: 
          • Provide a brief description, such as "This is my number one dryliner in the East Midlands."
      • Send Invitation:
          • Once added, the subcontractor (Joe Bloggs) will receive an email invitation.
          • The email will state: "You have been invited to Paul Heming's C-Link procurement system."
          • The subcontractor will be prompted to pre-qualify by hitting a link in the email.
      • Invitation Email Content:
          • The email will explain that Paul Heming from C-Link is using C-Link to create and build tenders and would like the subcontractor to get pre-qualified.
          • It includes a link to complete the pre-qualification process.
      • Access to Prosper:
        • Upon clicking the link, the subcontractor will be taken directly to Prosper.
        • They will be able to complete their pre-qualification, share their details, and use the platform for tendering and contracts.
