Procurement Schedule Overview
This guide explains how to create and manage work packages in C-Link, including adding trades, configuring lead times between milestones, updating manual and automatic milestones, and navigating the procurement schedule to track progress and completed activities.

⚙️ Configure Lead Times Between Milestones
Configure how time is allocated among milestones when creating a Work Package. This ensures your procurement schedule is structured and aligned from the outset.
1. Navigate to Work Packages
From Project Setup, click on Work Packages.

2. Create Packages from Trades
Add trades if required, then click Next Step – Create Packages.

3. Select Trades
Choose one or multiple trades.
Trades with a black icon are already created as packages.

4. Add Work Package
Click Add Package.
5. Open Package Details
Click on the work package header.
6. Update Reference Number (Optional)
Edit the Reference No if needed (format: ABC-000, max 7 characters).

7. Set Package Dates
Enter dates for new work packages as required.

8. Configure Lead Times
Click Configure Lead Times.

Adjust Milestone Timing
Review and adjust lead times between milestones.
⚠️ Changes cannot be made after the first milestone is started.

9. Save Lead Times
Click Save Lead Times.

10. Save Work Package
Click Save Packages.

11. Proceed to Schedule
Click Proceed to Procurement Schedule.
You will be taken to the Procurement Schedule page.

🔄 Updating Milestones
Manage progress by updating manual and automatic milestones within the Procurement Schedule.
✏️ Update Manual Milestones
View Milestone Details
Click on a milestone name to open a pop-over with more details.

Start Milestone
For manual milestones, click Start Milestone.

Mark as Complete
When ready, click the milestone name again.

Select Completion Date
Choose a completion date.
You can back-date, but not earlier than the project start date.

⚙️ Update Automatic Milestones
Automatic milestones are updated by actions taken within the platform.
View Milestone Details
Click on the milestone name to open the pop-up.

Review Information
You will see details of the milestone.
⚠️ These cannot be manually advanced.

Trigger Progress via Actions
Complete relevant actions in the platform to update the status.
Example: Drafting a tender enquiry will move Enquiry Issue to In Progress.

Close Pop-up
Close the panel once reviewed.
✅ Viewing Completed Milestones
Open Completed Milestones List
Click the green checkmark icon to view all completed milestones.

📊 Viewing the Procurement Schedule
Once configured, you can view and manage your procurement timeline.
Access Procurement Schedule Overview
Click on the Project Name from anywhere in the platform.

Review Schedule
View all milestones and timelines associated with your work packages in one place.
