📢 Procurement Schedule Overview enhancements

We're excited to announce a significant enhancement to our Procurement Schedule Overview.

Summary

This updated feature now expands milestone tracking from 4 to up to 11 milestones, offering comprehensive visibility of the pre-site procurement process through to Start on Site.

The updated view introduces a clearer, more visual dashboard that helps you:

  • Identify risks earlier
  • Track progress across work packages
  • Understand upcoming deadlines
  • Take required actions

New features

  • Expanded milestone framework (up to 11 milestones)
  • Full visibility of pre-site procurement workflow
  • Automatic calculation of milestone due dates based on Start on Site
  • Visibility of planned vs completed milestone dates

Enhancements

  • Improved alignment between milestone dates and project timelines
  • Clearer structure and sequencing of procurement milestones
  • Ability to configure lead times per work package during setup

UX improvements

  • Improved visual hierarchy of procurement milestones
  • Better alignment with QS workflow stages
  • Clearer distinction between current and next milestones

Important information

To ensure your team uses this enhanced version successfully, please note the following:

  • The updated Procurement Schedule Overview is only available on new projects created after release.
  • The schedule includes both manual milestones (requiring user updates) and automatic milestones (updated by system activity). Users must keep manual milestones up to date to maintain accurate sequencing and timelines.
  • Lead times are configured during Project Setup (Work Package creation) and can only be edited before any milestone is moved to “In Progress”.
