      QSAI Tool for Quote and Tender Analysis

      This guide walks you through how to use C-Link’s in-app QSAI (Quote & Scope AI) feature to automatically analyse quotes from your subcontractors.

      With QSAI, you can compare prices, programs, inclusions/exclusions, and scope details—without the need for spreadsheets.

       🧭 Accessing QSAI Within Your Project

      To begin using QSAI:

      1. Navigate to your Project Dashboard and select a specific live project (e.g. Woodhouse Grove).
      2. Once inside the project, go to Procurement Tools > Quotes and Tender Analysis.
      3. You will see the trades/packages with quotes already received. In this example, we’re reviewing Aluminium Windows & Doors and Wet Underfloor Heating, both of which have multiple quotes.

      🔔 Note: The “View AI Results” button will only appear if two or more quotes have been submitted for a package. If only one quote exists, the tool will not activate.

      🧠 Viewing AI-Powered Results

      When multiple quotes are available:

      1. Click View AI Results for the relevant package.
      2. QSAI will begin processing the data. This may take 60–90 seconds depending on the volume and format of the quotes.
      3. Once complete, the system will display an in-app summary including:
        • Price comparison
        • Programme duration comparison
        • Quote quality grading
        • Initial recommendations

      This gives you a snapshot of how each supplier stacks up across key procurement criteria.

      📄 Understanding the QSAI Report Output

      In addition to the in-app view, you can also download a Word report.

      This downloadable report includes:

      • Detailed comparisons of price and programme
      • Scope differences between quotes
      • Clarifications required (e.g. confirmation of acoustic spec compliance)
      • Inclusions and exclusions flagged per quote
      • Risks and recommendations, highlighting areas for negotiation or confirmation

      • Opportunities for scope consolidation or cost-saving

      The QSAI tool simplifies what is traditionally a manual and time-consuming part of tendering, helping you make informed procurement decisions faster and more confidently.
