Disable the "One Trade Per Package" requirement

We are excited to announce a new update that enhances the flexibility and functionality of our platform, particularly in managing phase packages.

Key Updates:

Disable the "One Trade Per Package" requirement:

  • What’s Changed: We have disabled the “one trade per package” validation, giving you more flexibility when creating phase packages. This change allows the same trade to be used across multiple packages tendered to different companies, streamlining the project management process.
  • Multiple Packages with the Same Trade: You can now create packages with the same trade multiple times (e.g., "Trade X" can be reused in different packages). The system will label subsequent instances as “Trade X - Phase 2,” “Trade X - Phase 3,” etc., making it easier to manage phased projects.
  • Improved Error Handling: If a trade assigned to packages is removed, you will receive a clear error message explaining that the trade is in use and cannot be deleted until the associated packages are removed. This ensures clarity and prevents accidental errors.
  • New Confirmation Modal: A new confirmation modal has been added when deleting packages, warning you about the irreversible loss of access to associated tenders, quotes, and orders. This extra step ensures that you are fully informed before making deletions.
